I thought Robinson was our best player but I still thought it was a good idea to sub him for Colwill who I expected to play just well. I was wrong.

I'd agree with that assessment. We looked happy to give the ball away and let them play- Norwich were first to every loose ball or 50/50.
We have ground out wins recently, without being great, relying on a solid defence. The defence went to pieces today and we got what we deserved.
We just couldn't hold onto the ball up top, Meite is nowhere near a championship "9". As soon as he or Etete are against decent physical centre halfs we struggle especially at home where teams can put men in the middle.
I agree with the Ralls sub, she may have given him a second yellow at any time, she has a high red card history.
Meite tires against big centre halfs
And Robinson barely chases when fresh.
Tanner and Rubin may benifit from a half-season loan, especially when Rambo, O'Dowda are back and if we get a few starters in over the window
E WERE AWFUL, ESPECIALLY SECOND HALF, SO NO COMPLAINTS ABOUT THE RESULT...
but...
What an abysmal display by the ref!!!
If anything, the ref has a low red card count

But it’s hard to see how when you see some of the things she gave yellows for today.
Bowler is ripping them to bits, I know, I’ll take him off, Robinson is causing them some right mischief, I know I’ll take him off. Players can play for 90 minutes y’know Erol. No need to change to try and look tactically clever.
Joe ralls did not get a yellow card!
Were either of the players you mentioned causing problems in the lead up to them coming off? was anyone? Bulut puts on Tanner, who people call for regularly on here when we need that forward thinking impetus, And Colwill, who has done very well the last few times he has come on around the same time during a game, And Wintle as the insurance in front of the back 3. I wouldn't say that Bulut was taking a risk with those three players, in fact, it could be seen as a positive move. The fact that the three of them were complete shite and offered the sum of zero isn't really the managers fault. That's three players who couldn't adapt or make an impact. We can blame the manager when he deserves to be blamed, on this occasion i don't think he does.
Dust has settled now and I put it down to a bad day at the office. Subs could have been better, I wouldnt have taken Robbo off, and I would have changed Romeo, but the players have to take some responsibility.
On the bright side, even when we lose,we usually score 2. And we tend to win and perform well more than we lose and perform badly, so Im not too bothered. Such an improvement on the past 5 odd years.
Siopis had an off day, and Erol will sort them out. Just a shame theres a break, you wanna play again asap after a game like this.
Come January we need a right back. Romeo is league one standard no offense to him.
How the hell does Grant stay on. He produces nothing. We watched them waltz around from start to finish apart from a certain period in the first half. There for the taking and failed again. That said they gave us more trouble than I can recall any other side at home this season.
Hindsight is wonderful
I would have stuck panzo on but if we still had lost he would have had stick for not doing what he done.
Conflicted on this game as it was obvious Romeo was struggling
That's harsh, none of them were worldbeating when they came on but at 2-1 Tanner and Colwill combined well with Colwill putting a great ball across the goal which neither Grant nor Meite went for. It was an easy tap in and should have been game over, but neither seem to have that killer instinct to go for those balls across. It was a theme yesterday and has been a few times this season where a winger has put the ball across the goal but nobody's gone for it, it's clearly a tactic because we do it so often but for whatever reason the forwards rarely seem to be alert to it.
Wintle really is a step down from Ralls & Siopis, that own goal was ridiculous, but he completely lacks any kind of dynamism or a change of pace. I think we'll be looking for a midfielder in January
Yeah, fair enough, I was being harsh. Didn't make the impact required would be more suited. I still don't think that it's the managers fault that they didn't do what was required while they were out there, and the same for the players who were already on the field of play. What can he do when players aren't doing the basics correctly or not adapting too a turn in play?He can make the necessary changes, which he did, and it's worked well previously. Not yesterday. Forget about it is my opinion.
