No dont nationalise anything . as history shows it doesn't work , let the commercial world take care of its self with some help from government as they did the cider industry , take the carp at supermarkets and bargain booze , which will produce more pub footfall , profit and jobs .
It is a dying trade though as youngsters are not engaged in pub culture although ironically they enjoy the jobs it provides ??
The 10% above inflation tax rise for cider came into force at the end of last month after being announced by Labours Chancellor Alistair Darling. repealed by Tories ,results in a thriving industry well done George Magners Osborne
