In typical Labour fashion, they are turning their triumph of last week into yesterday’s chip paper with Starmer’s triumphalism about a defecting very right wing Tory - restoring the whip for Dianne Abbott would help the situation a bit, but it’s no wonder there’s no enthusiasm among the electorate for Starmer and his party.
