Not true. The case was all about falsifying accounts, nothing to do with whether it affected the 2016 election. That case is yet to follow, I believe.

Trump has been convicted on the grounds that this payment somehow affected the 2016 election against another potential criminal Hilary Clinton.

How the court could come to that conclusion is unbelievable. Also, that conviction was using Federal Law in a State Law court, so the court has overreached its authority. This conviction won't last 5 minutes in the appeal court and will be thrown out with the rubbish and hopefully the same will happen to the rest of the democratic swamp come November

Ridiculous case by a piece of shit DA, helped by a dodgy judge who has pushed and cajoled the jury into a bit of a silly decision. A decision that may well see the worst president in history be able to play the victim card and get himself elected. Without these ridiculous cases I think biden wipes the floor with trump, after these rabid democrat prosecutors habe had their days in court I think the election result is more up in the air.

They opted to go after the witnesses and make out everyone else was lying, which I suspect is what they were directed to do by the Orange Manboy, when they should have cast reasonable doubt that Trump authorised the payments or challenged what the payments were for.

I think there are definitely many within those states who'd love to go after biden in the same way, but they never actually have gone after the democrats yet in the way these prosecutors are going after trump. So far it's only these rabid fringe democrats who have decided to break the mould at present. Trump and his antics should be something that starts to fade into memory, unfortunately the likes of Bragg and willis seem determined to follow his lead and turn the states into a banana republic
