blew that with some dull bowler selection. should have gone for the throat.

    at least ingerlund fecked up.

Got to win from there. Poor captaincy and crucial dropped catches.

Categorically **** Essex. Ive watched Glamorgan all over, nearly all fans of county cricket get on (unsurprisingly). Outside of the football I cant say Ive personally experienced such an unpleasant evening for being Welsh as I did tonight.

Not surprised to hear and no surprise when Farage is so popular in Clacton. Narrow minded, racist and not much between the ears.

Sad to hear! Shame we didn't really shut them up with a win!

Never been to Chelmsford to watch cricket, but was surprised by the attitude and antics of some Essex fans in a game at Cardiff years ago.

    Re: GLAMMY

Long time since I watched a complete Glamorgan game.....really threw that away by taking the two spinners off when Essex were there for the taking.

South Africa 12-4 chasing 104 to beat the Netherlands.

Afghanistan beat New Zealand overnight - a low scoring, but very watchable, tournament so far.

Do England know you can take wickets in this tournament?

Ex Glamorgan coach Matthew Mott under a lot of pressure after England’s defeat, big game for them tonight when Scotland face Oman.

Still reflecting on Essex game. So disappointing. Big fan of Carlson - and he is relatively inexperienced as captain - so not going to be too critical, but a really poor decision to take both crane and marnus out of attack. Game was there to win. Would have expected influence from northeast, Ingram etc. crucial we win next game.

Totally agree. Hard to second guess the reasons, but it appeared to me that bringing on Ingram was done with with an eye to filling the 20 overs. But that just shouldn't have been an issue, they were 8 down and we just needed to go in for the kill.

It was a decision that should have taken milliseconds if even thought about at all. 2 lads have reduced them to 8 down in a flash, just keep the ball with them .

think buttler did the same yesterday with jacks trying to get the first 6 overs done with

It's as if he didn't see what head did in the IPL. He's probably the last batsman in the world you want to be taking liberties with at this moment in time

It was pretty dozy captaincy putting your most inexperienced bowler on at the end with such small leg side boundaries and a helping wind - another example of too clever by half captaincy.

Watching India v Pakistan in front of what must be the biggest crowd ever to watch a cricket match in America - not much of a claim I suppose, but there doesn’t seem to be too many empty seats in the stadium.

India 96-7 in the fifteenth over on what looks a dodgy wicket.

Llanedeyrnblue has a lot to answer for back in 2016 for the name of this thread....puts me off reading it even.

Any chance of retiring this one and starting a new one correctly titled Glamorgan CCC ?

We're in the last play off position after the weekend's action, ahead of Somerset, Hampshire and Essex on goal difference.

Interesting to see Sussex top. They had two big wins at the weekend, including one at the Oval. At the other end of the table, Middlesex are off the mark after chasing down 173 at Canterbury.

We've got two games this week. Hampshire at home on Thursday followed by a trip to Taunton on Sunday. Somerset made 241-5 there yesterday off a Hampshire attack of Neser, Wood, Turner, Dawson, Howell and Fuller which is slightly concerning. Is the transfer window still open?
