A fair chance and either side cant keep drawing if they want a pop at promotion. Something had to give.

Next time we have a T20 . Maybe the coach should tell them to pretend it's a 4 day game. Haven't seen us score this quickly for a long time !!

Certainly having a dig. Good on um!

I honestly thought they were going to pull this off until some crazy shots from Carlson and Labuschagne. Then the wheels really fell off!

I was never confident. I have always rated Cooke but didn't understand why he really went for it when he had taken 12 off the over and the run required was at 8.

Quite a knock this. The fastest double hundred (balls faced) in Championship history, knocking Aneurin Donald off top spot. Donald also drops out of the top three fastest in all first-class cricket. Ollie Robinson has knocked Malcolm Nash out of the top three for the most expensive over bowled in the County Championship (after 56 years).

We don't play Leicestershire again till August, hopefully Kimber's form will have tailed off a bit by then.

No Colin Ingram again for the coming game in Cheltenham. We are told to believe he is rested for a second successive week...

Yet another bottle job in a major tournament by Sud Ephrica hands India the T20 World Cup.

Great start. Can we see this one through to actually bag a win!

    Re: GLAMMY

88-8 at lunch with a wicket for Labuschagne’s seamers - four wickets for Van Der Gugten.

Just checked the score. What a morning!

Very annoying last wicket stand well underway….

Not Adrian Dale's boy batting is it?
    Or even Dale himself?!!

    Re: GLAMMY

Glam unraveling again. They seem to completely lose their composure when things go the other way.

    Re: GLAMMY

179 all out. Great bowling performance, but frustrating to 88-8 turn into 179. Hopefully we put up 400+ and make those last 2 partnerships for them meaningless

    Re: GLAMMY

75 for last wicket off 12 overs. So frustrating…

    Re: GLAMMY

At 104-9 genuinely thought it could only be a positive day. Bloody hell!

    that's an understatement.

    pathetic ☹️

    Re: GLAMMY

    17 wickets on day one.

    Re: GLAMMY

Shame to see Carlson get out, with him and timm there was still the outside chance of a decent lead. Need our tail to wag like Gloucester's did

    Re: GLAMMY

I know I’m a cricketing dinosaur, but looking at the scores today do any of these sides know how to knuckle down and see off the new ball? 17 wickets on day 1 of the Glamorgan game seems a high number but three other games are into their third innings already. I suppose they are coming out of a 20.20 campaign but every side needs a Chris Tavares at some point.
