I must admit I'm looking forward to the final tomorrow with England in it and playing the way they are. Would love Spain to win it though but whatever. There are more important things. It's a juicy final though and isn't a mismatch. As Jon said in his post, I quite like a lot of the players and this England team (unlike the days of Terry and Lampard).

Edit: I remember lots of discussions as to whether Shilton should have been picked (age I think) but can't for the life of me remember who the other GK was.

That's good . I met a Scottish mate of mine this afternoon and reminded him the Scottish have supported 7 teams in this tournament and they've all lost .

Yeah, it must have been looking at his playing career. Jimmy'll know more about him from his Rangers days but I can't believe he managed as many as 43 caps for England. I just don't remember him. I did just read that he's the Scotland goalkeeping coach!
