I suspect as long as the gorilla was well versed on Queensbury rules which included no biting (à la M. Tyson) and excessive holding (squeezing) and assuming the boxer was world class and a long reach then it might be a close call.

Queensbury Rules don’t apply in the jungle, so it would clearly put the gorilla at a disadvantage if they applied in the cage. Bearing in mind he’s only a juvenile.

Just to try and add some context....

In 2017, the USA women's football team were the current World Champions. They played a warm-up game against a U-15 schoolboy side from Dallas. The women's team lost 2-5!

I would imagine Taffs Well would heavily outscore the England women.

7 years in sports is a long time, and the woman's game has come on alot since then

My girls team ( U 16 last season, Ladies this season ) play a Friendly with a U15 boys team every year ( have done for 4 years now ) we are yet to lose to them , a few draws and a few single goal wins

I know the response will be " yea Matt, they must be a crap boys team " they aren't , they won League 1 this season ( Prem, L1, L2 and L3 ) 12 teams in each league

I also see a time in the future where there will be top female footballers e.g. Lucy Bronze standard who I mentioned above, who could compete in the mens game at professional level. In tennis, for example, women's serves are now regularly +100mph at the highest level when a few decades ago that wasn't the case. But muscle mass and stamina are physical differences. Pro tennis players are now all 6ft plus. That wasn't the case a few decades ago. Women tennis players are much shorter so height is a factor. There are just differences and variables.

Go and watch a WSL match or international women's match. Technical ability is outstanding.

There are quite a few women's games, at quite a high level, on You Tube and other such outlets. To be honest, the technical quality is abysmal, as is the physicality, fitness levels and the entertainment.

1921 want's its attitude back (which is when the FA banned women from playing for 50 years).

If only they'd been allowed to play professionally and have their own league for 100+ years instead of since 2018 (which is when a fully professional league - the WSL - was first formed) eh? We could have a big celebration.

Ironically, YouTube is 13 years older than the WSL.
