For me, the most telling thing about Saturdays. events was the way Trumps mind worked while he was being kept on the floor by the security staff after the bullet had grazed his ear - as soon as he was free to get up, he figured what he had to do was clench his fist and shout fight, fight, fight.

Now, there is something impressive in the fact that Trump could think like that seconds after a near death experience (I certainly couldnt do that), but we saw the essence of the man there and it was to act aggressively and incite the crowd in a similar way to what he did on 6/1/21.

As you say, the man does not have a clue what the word empathy means.
    He's a freak

His thoughts were not about those trying to protect him , even after nearly being taken out he was determined for yet another idiotic gesture to his lemmings

Trump is a very dangerous man

You think this was a coincidence?

Yes, not "after" the assassination attempt, which you thought it was.

It was 5 years ago, and no one batted an eyelid for 5 years as it was a reasonable response to Trump's comment.

It's just a state of denial. Constant, denial. This is a condition that in other areas of life would require an 'intervention'.

Confirmation bias and cognitive dissonance strikes again.

I quickly compiled a list of Trump's shortcomings (there are probably many more, but this will do for starters).

    Misogynistic
A history of racist comments and actions
    Incitement of violence
    2 impeachments
    30,000+ false and misleading statements
    Voting fraud claims
    Intermarital affairs
    Convicted of falsifying records
    Classified document retention
    Promoter of conspiracy theories
    Global warming denier
    Anti-NATO
    Ukraine
Implemented a travel ban from Muslim countries when last in office
Laughable handling of Covid including his suggestion of using bleach i.e., he's not very smart.

I find it incredulous that so many people see past all this, especially women.

Don't forget him ridiculing disabled people.

With that CV he'd fit right in with a lot of posters on here.

This was one of his fraudulent best:

    https://www.globalwitness.org/en/cam...er-0/section-0

Also (allegedly) used Florida real estate deals to launder Russian mafia money - Putin cronies massively overpaying for Trump property as part of a laundering and 'under the table' crooked funding arrangement.

He also (allegedly) has a long history of not paying his creditors - hoping they couldn't afford to take him to court, and of exploiting tenants living in his New York properties with rent hikes and failure to carry out repairs.

Though not much allegedly about it!

Let's not forget his stance on gun control either, which I doubt hasn't changed much.

What a load of divisive drivel. He made a call and will also be attending the funeral. It seems like the 6 years of Russia collusion nonsense you spouted has pushed you over the edge!

So, he made a call after the story broke that he hadn’t?

Let's put it on a timeline.

Saturday: Trump rally, attendee is killed
    Sunday: Biden calls family
Sunday: New York Post interviews family
Monday: Story published revealing that Biden has called and Trump hasn't
Monday evening: Trump's team contacts family
    Tuesday: Trump finally calls

Now we've got our timeline, phew!

The fact that you think it was all driven by Biden's phone call shows how obsessively nuts you really are!

    Re: The Donald Trump thread

Something else to add to my timeline

Sunday: Biden calls Trump to speak to him after the shooting
Sunday: Trump calls RFK Jr about their third candidate scam, and tells him about what happened at the rally, and says that Biden was "very nice actually" during his call.

What are you lot going on about? Why are people making capital out of who rang a family first? I get the care element but if my dad had just been shot dead I don't think I would be overly concerned with it. I am sure the organisers of the rally were of assistance to the family.

There are certain things that are just fairly unsavoury topics to discuss esp when none of us know the details - I'd class this as one of them

Apart from all that, he's an all-round regular American guy who cares about the people

P.S I would add narcissist to the above list.

It's incredible how everything seems to be falling into place for him. Shades of the anti-Christ maybe.
