Maybe Collins has finally recovered from his ACL injury, he had a really good first half.

    Tanner was hot & cold.

McGuiness is going to give us all heart palpitations when he has the ball at his feet.

Davies ran well and actually looked like he knew how to press properly.

I know it was only a friendly, but I'd have liked to have seen a bit more energy from Colwill.

Good game time for the likes of Kpakio and Conte.

That first half 11 doesn't interest me one bit.

Didn't see Isaak Davies among the subs, probably should have made the effort to watch the second half, I suspect it was much better looking at the subs we brought on.

They beat Nantes 4-2 yesterday - actually two 60-miniute games, that was probably their first team, no idea who we were playing.

Do we know for sure that was their official first team that beat Nantes and that they didn't spread their regular team between the two fixtures?

Flashscore will have their last league game/lineup etc. Should be easy to compare for anyone bothered.

I think six players in that lineup were regulars in Hamburgs squad last season.

Here’s the Hamburg team that beat St Pauli in May.

Odd that they played only the other day.

Just seen Robinson and Davies goals, not sure they get those goals in the Championship but still glad they scored, especially Davies still had plenty to do.

Meite starting upfront seems a bit shocking.

Paid my fiver, but due to dodgy wifi missed lots of the game. Saw Davies' goal, missed the others.
Is there a link to the highlights?

Hamburg fans on twitter questioning why they played a 90 minute match the day after they played a 120 minute one.

‘They don’t like it up ‘em’, I said ‘They don’t like it up ‘em, Cap’n Mainwaring’

I think we can be cautiously optimistic after today.

Some nice football. The fullbacks were pushing up higher and overlapping etc. I keep writing Tanner off but there is something there.

We have quite a bit of depth and if one or two of those youngsters can come good this season then thatll be a huge boost.

Davies looked a better player to me than the one that left us.

I think theres the basis of a good team there.

The gap remains the main striker. In my opinion, if we need to sell one or two of Colwill, NG, McGuiness, or anyone else in fact, to fund a proper goalscorer then we should go for it
