Goutas, Horvath, King and Kpakio are all on for McGuinness, Alnwick, Rinomhota and Rubin Colwill.

I'm in agreement with you about Robinson. We know he can be a decent player at this level, but I just think his mind is no long on it.

Pictures gone again for about ten minutes this time,I know it’s only a fiver, but it’s still annoying that they can’t provide a better service.

we've been crying out for someone to be a bit selfish and try to make things happen for most of last season. the rest of the te were often happy to meekly pass it and hope it somehow ends up with a shooting opportunity

Maybe to be expected in a friendly, but for me the young players have been far better than the established squad players.

Fagin-Walcott, Kpakio, Conte, King, J. Colwill all had excellent moments and look more comfortable on the ball than our first teamers.

Matthews who scored for them has had an interesting career, youth at Dortmund, played in Sweden for a few years - looks a good player

If NG isn’t fit the first game, let’s see what Kpakio can do. He looks electric.

As a pre-season game, that was a good one - physically and tactically. Sundowns well on top towards the end.

Finished 1-1, a very good test for City's youngsters based on what I was able to see. They were definitely the best team weve played so far and put us under a fair bit of pressure towards the end, but we seem to have more pace in the side this season and that's without us having seen Willock yet - got to agree with LA Bluebird, it's the youngsters who are making us look a more dangerous attacking side at the moment.

Please please please don't bring in "experience" for the sake of it and squeeze out these youngsters.

If the younger players are showing up then they need to be given an opportunity in the first team, and people need to be patient with them. In fairness, city fans are generally supportive towards home grown players, let's hope Bulut can act accordingly. Another thing, friendlies are important, they're training exercises, they show the coaching staff which players are in it, same as they do during the season.

I'm sure we had a pre-season tour of Australia, a year or two before this. That Jimmy Scoular took us to some exotic location, aye.

    Some crap WOL reporting
"Substitute Eli King felt he was fouled out wide on the right. The linesman agreed, but the referee didn't, choosing instead to play advantage, and that allowed Joel Colwill to race away into the area and finish."

If the ref played advantage he must have seen a foul. You can't have it both ways, either there was no foul and play continued or the was a foul by the ref played the advantage.
