Rishi put up National Insurance and a few other measures to slow the economy, then inflation came down to allow the "ank of Wngnland bellend to finally lower them, he also partly caused it by putting rates up way later than he should have.

The Bank of England are dangerous, they kept interest rates too low for too long, told people that high wage demands must not happen, printed money during COVID. The federal reserve have done the same feck up as has European banks.

To be fair to the Tories they struck the tactic.

You can't go through global events like a pandemic, war in Europe without financial pain, those who think so are financially ignorant, all this has given Labour a good opportunity to blame it all on the Tories are people that naive??
