More embarrassing was that Burnley were hardly at their best but we handed them a simple thumping.

Well let's say we get stuffed by Swansea next game (highly likely), you think there'd be no liklihood of him being sacked because he has a 2 year contract?

Agree with that, Ralls was playing well until he went off injured and Fagsn Walcott looked okay. As someone else posted our problem is we’re not very good in either penalty area.

Burnley had 4 shots on target and scored 5 goals, just as well they didn’t play very well!

I agree. We should admit the feck up , replace him now. Theres still time in the window to get some in. We could be well rooted at the bottom by the end of September.

Look on the bright side ... we're only 6 points off top spot.

Not even North Cardiff Blue can defend that shower of shite.

Wasn’t expecting anything today tbh but to throw the towel in like that. Awful.

No idea how he played, but what is the point in leaving Ramsey on until the 90 considering his age/injury history etc? More poor management.

    Remember the early season optimism.

"Fair play to the club for getting quality in".

"How have the bookies got it so wrong on us?"

"May be just short of promotion but will be right up there"

Was only a week ago! Could be more quality to come in yet also.

Half joking of course but the pressure on likes of robertson feels immense.

I wasn't fussed by rambo signing last summer and was really surprised how excited everyone was by him coming. I said so in all the threads at the time but was happy to see how it played out. He may spring back into life but.......

To be fair at the start of last season, Ramsey looked fantastic and was very good for us

Didn’t we have a goal ruled out for offside and Meite hit the bar?

I think that is a bit over the top - plus we are now 12 months on and need to be realistic.

We do seem to have reached the stage where youngest player in the team is 26. We get beat 5 0 against a side who have just been relegated with a new manager and the reaction will be one of indifference with a sprinkling of positivity backed up by some stats. It's all very strange.

South wales Derby next week. Anyone bothered?

I didn’t see the game but 5 goals (including a horror from Horvath and 2 long range efforts late on) from 4 shots, along with the other match stats suggest a strange game.

But there is no arguing with a 5-0 defeat :-/

Anyone wanting to give Bulut until Xmas to turn it around ?, saw bits and pieces of game, it did look very poor.

He had 3 goals in 6 games from midfield and was at the centre of everything good that we did

Yes, we did. I listened to the game and it sounded like a decent move which put Meite thorough on goal. Went for power and hit the woodwork.

I lost interest 2nd half but it sounded harsh that we were 2 down at HT on the overall balance of play. Problem is that often seems to be the case for sides that struggle.

Will we still be on 0 at the end of August?

    Can someone do a poll?

    I say yes

Re: FT: BURNLEY 5 - 0 CARDIFF CITY. Match thread

Former players say that Bulut hates losing matches. Don’t we all.

Sadly, he is incapable of putting together a solid defensive team, as well as having no interest in creating an exciting attacking team.

    What’s the point?
