So much for smart arse dalman mocking tan football knowledge

Dalman "the cat who got the cream" when he thought ole was the man to keep us up in the Premier league with some random Norwegians.

Dalman who was so happy about bulut coming and adamant he should stay a 2nd season.

It was clear tan wasn't sure re bulut. He should have stuck with his guns and fired bulut last summer when dalman was hoping bulut would be convinced to stay.

I wonder who will be in charge of appointing our next manager?!

I do understand the stick tan gets but ultimately he employs people like dalman and choo to run the club. And he pays them bloody well. They have to take their fair share of criticism surely.

In other news I thought we played quite well today. Of course, it wasn't good enough and we lost. There is a team in there. We need to teak the team, change formation, move O'Dowd forward and find a place for Ashford. Fish looks like a talented player and Ralls still has something to contribute.

I am not giving up yet.

How much further would you like to move O'Dowda forward considered he played as a winger for most of the game and that was the time we were utter crap?

Also that's the second time I've seen somebody praise Ralls since the game ended, I honestly couldn't tell he was out there today. Everyone has different opinions I guess. He looks totally shot to me.

There is always "a team in there" with any championship side. It's how warnock took us from rock bottom to automatic promotion in 18 months.

It's how warnock kept Rotherham and Huddersfield up when seemed dead and buried.

Yes a new manager will get us playing and we will be mid table I think.

The Championship isn't like the Premier league in that in the Premier league without the quality you will struggle whoever you are. An average league 1 team with a good manager could make a real dent in the Championship.

O'Dowda is still our best left winger IMO and should play there. Our problem is we are too predictable. Derby shut up shop with about 20 minutes to go so they were pretty confident that we would only change personel and not tactics. I still believe we have a team which will be easily mid table provided the manager thinks again about what he wants us to do

I agree with you and it is within Bulut's gift to do the same. He has up to now blamed the players. After today he must now be thinking it is time to change tact and do something less predictable

I think O'Dowda's issue is modern formations. To me, he is a good old old-fashioned 442 left winger. He is not a specialist wide forward or left back

The consensus among the ex pros on Rob Phillips’ phone in was that City weren’t a team, they were a collection of individuals.

I thought we tried hard, but lacked quality going forward and were opened up much too easily for the goal.

I'll have what you're having. That was the worst display of the season by far, which is fairly impressive.

We didn't even have a shot on target in the second half.

Considering a large proportion of our own fans booed while we had the ball tells you how bad it was.

We had a grand total of zero shots on target. I didn't boo but I did have some strong opinions on our dedication to pointlessly pass it round the back at 1-0 down with 10 to go

We could still be out there now and it would be 1-0

What got me along those lines was the lack of anyone getting in the box when we were trying to get crosses in the last 10 minutes.

This is the issue. It doesn't really matter which players he picks each week. Whoever they are they will concede easy goals and won't be able to create. He can keep tinkering all he likes but the outcome is the same.

Really doesn't seem to matter who he puts out against Leeds now. It's gone past that. I'd assume the club are looking for a manager already now. Well most clubs would be but us.....

There's no movement, no speed of thought, no incision, no invention and just predictable static fare. We have no idea how to construct an attack and imagine that we will stay up is incredibly fanciful.

Enough is enough , Bulut should do the decent thing and resign . The frightening thought is who will they appoint on the cheap ? How will the new coach/ manager get us to play differently with no pace throughout the team ????

On a slightly different tack, their number 17, Kenzo Goudmijn, was superb. IIRC, he didn't waste a ball all game, and he passed through the lines all the time.
