O'Dowda and Alnwick, that's all.
What does kanga earn a week? My god
Check Davies' fitness first. If fine, keep him on. Alnwick too. Farewell to the rest.
I'd keep davies and Etete
I would think that if I was a player on that list, I would be busting a gut to get a contract extension. If my contract still wasn't renewed, I would have hoped that I had put enough effort in, to have made other football clubs take an interest on signing me before the start of the following season.
Isn't it also a case that if I hadn't been offered a City contract, one that I was happy with, I could sign a pre-contract with another club in January?
Two questions therefore come into my mind...
Have any of the above really deserved a contract renewal?
What other club would take an option on them in January?
There are examples of players who appear to have prospered elsewhere given a different environment / coaching.
Some on that list, among others with longer contracts, have arguably fallen below the standard they are capable of but could do a better job on a more consistent basis elsewhere.
Alnick a 1 year deal.
ODowda and Robinson maybe depending on wages but no more than 1 year.
Will they be contracts for league one?
Imagine winning every week in league one with Pep as our manager as he tries to rebuild his carear.
They wouldn't be strolling about under him.
Wondered why Siopis wasn't on the list but he signed a 3 year deal. Should we go down I imagine he'll move on. Likewise Colwill R and Willock possibly. If we can't shift Horvath perhaps Alnwick will be released instead.
Relieved to see El Ghazi on that list, can only imagine the wages he’s on. Wonder if this will be the end for Rambo or if he’ll consider something like MLS or Saudi?
Imagine the players we could bring in to replace them. Thankfully we have such a good record in the transfer market that won't be a worry.
Perhaps the forthcoming increase in Employers National Insurance contributions means we can't afford to hang on to any of them. Having said that we need to keep Alnwick and also Davies if he can get fit and live up to his promise. The rest can go
Let everyone go.
The owner, chairman and CEO too.
**** it, and the fans.
Let’s just have an empty stadium with no football being played.
Wait…
He turned down those kind of moves when he left Nice
I imagine this contract is it as far as playing goes
On another note, I know he's injury prone but there must be an issue with our medical staff when it comes to hamstrings in particular. Constant setbacks for him, Davies & Etete. Ramsey managed 27 games in Ligue 1 before he rejoined us
Alnwick is the only one on that list the rest are either busted flushes as far as playing here is concerned and others to unreliable injury wise
My biggest fear is who is going to take control of replacing them as we won't have the same manager by then so this is another area of major concern for me to add a really long list of concerns
Lastly I appreciate the ownership and the management team are getting a lot of flack and rightly so but for me the players as a collective are a bit of disgrace at the moment especially after a few have come out and said how much they like Risa and how they enjoy playing for him - god help us if they didn't like him
