Anyone else betting on the darts ?

If you want a winner ask me , it will be the opposing player to the one I bet. I could knock Luke Littler out
Aw c’mon Jim, you’ve got the same weight advantage as Fury had, yet he couldn’t put Usyk down

Hearn has been talking to them about taking it there but on hold for now.

It's all bluster to get more money out of sponsors, TV etc

Heta just hit a 9 dart leg . £60 k for him , £60k for charity and £60k for someone in the audience . How do they decide which member of the audience gets the money?

His opponent was just as happy for him...

That was brilliant. Great reaction from Luke Woodhouse too.

Cullen missed his opportunities on his own throw. Extraordinary final set, so many breaks. That 170 is one of the greatest checkouts in the history of the sport. Everytime Cullen broke back he didn't seem to be able to start a leg on his own throw well. Not great averages but great entertainment.

What do you make of Peter Wright being second favourite by a fair bit to Wakinmena ?

I know he hasn't had a great year but looked ok in his first game.

Wattimena has made a European Champs final and got to the quarters of the Grand Slam. Wright has had a poor year and I don't think he's averaged more than mid 80s since the UK open early this year. On form Wattimena wins, but Wright does love the Ally Pally stage. Think he's coming to the end of his days though. His wife, Jo, hasn't been well, he's made his money and hasn't anything to prove any more.

Clayton v Price could go to extra time and penalties. Their R3 matches were so similar. Both have lots of mental acrobatics going on.

He hasn't played like this for ages. Throwing really well.

I watched his first game and thought he was decent , I have taken 9\4 could cash out and double my money.

I was embarrassed for him in the premier league darts.

I think his wife is on the mend , his hair has been done.

Glad to hear that. I met both of them in an exhibition in Sophia Gardens a few years ago. He was a very quiet bloke, had a nice chat with her when buying a Snakebite wooly hat from her stall there.

Watching Welshman Robert Owen now. His throwing action looks quite odd. His darts seem to go into the board on a weird angle.

Phil Taylor's used to as well. I can't remember any darter before him whose arrows angled downwards. Justin Pipe took that to an even greater extreme.

He appears very determined . Is this a big step up for him ?

Evan is a bit of a character.

Worked thou’. But Ricky Evans went into self destruct mode.

Clayton or Price? Heart says Jonny but head says Gezzy

I had a wee flutter on Owen when Evans threw one of his darts at the board in temper.

Price looks to strong , I was hoping Clayton would start well and the odds on Price might become attractive

Evans appeared to throw the towel in with all to play for, a really weird exit from the competition, but then gracious in defeat.

I like Price, I hope he can win this.
