A season full of 19:27 protests, marches outside the stadium, banners and and chants at games, pro blue billboards, etc with 30k in the stadium didn’t sway him.

The rebrand reversal was a business decision back when Tan cared about how the club was faring (from a business perspective at least).
Yeah tan thought the apathy and empty seats were down to the rebrand.

He's probably learned by now that the rebrand had nothing to do with the empty seats and general apathy

It’s getting ridiculous all the in fighting amongst supporters over who met with who etc

If anyone wants to march January 18th to protest against the state of the club then do it. Peaceful talks with the club etc have got us nowhere so we should start disrupting games, it’s the only thing that will get media coverage. Abbandanato is a waste of space and so is Glen Williams. We need national coverage to shame Tan. He is a man with a fragile ego that would be embarrassed by such protests gaining media attention

I am in Australia for the next 3 home games after Coventry but I would support any such protest and hopefully there are more planned for the rest of the season

So your not there but backing people to disrupt games.

Saying that doubt points deduction won't make much difference.🤣

This was the last game we played with red as our first choice shirt colour - looking at the crowd figure, I’d say you’re right.

"What do we want? Decision making personnel with football experience even though that's no guarantee of anything. When do we want it? Well, now, but it couldn't be ascertained if that was successful for some time."

    Okay, chant needs work.

Also, would be interesting if we won the 5 games between now and the protest. (Yeah I know, I know).

Didnt he go into hiding after packing Kav on a helicopter for 500k or thereabouts.??

    Debt is good.🤣

He couldn't take the club over for free let alone Ł30m.

Please tell me our trust didn't entertain him and his ego.

Also the fact that many never did return or some took years, the customers didn’t just come back straight away for the game v Fulham was it?
I did, but something didn’t feel the same anymore. It was a habit I thought was hard to break, but in fact it was easy, and it’s got easier as time went on to this almost apathetic state.

I haven’t got a clue, I never knew or met the guy. Remember everyone then thinking the Ł20 million debt was the end of the world though and it really wasn’t. Speculate to accumulate as the old saying goes, he had faults but he was well and truly shafted by PMG and the council over the ground and retail park….who did get control of that lucrative site eh?

How was he shafted Cardiff Council to their credit did their due diligence and simply didn’t want to go down the Merton Council route and end up with a Wimbledon F.C scenario.

After all it was the other forum that was a big part of leading the ‘back to blue’ protests that 100% was correct in their aims.
I’ve seen very little on Twitter tbh, except someone who shared a post by *****, but that wasn’t about a protest

For years we have been thankful because if Tan wasn't here we'd end up with a National League manager and a squad of journeymen only here for their last cheque.
With hindsight option 2 is too late, it will take seasons to get us back on a proper trajectory. So I think option 3 will be popular and hit him like a ton of bricks 25/26.
you forget option 4, make Tan a offer and buy the club

but seriously, as ive said in the past, option 2 only works if the supplier listens / cares ( Tan doesnt appear to )

so you are left with option 1, see what happens and accept it for what it is, Option 3, find something else to do with your time ( ive said it before, a local non-league team would love your support and money )

Yes I know a certain section of our fans would welcome him back as the messiah, he had them all dangling like puppets for so long they cant see the wood from the tree's

its like Groundhog Day, a bit of Drama and Sam arrives ( on his white charger ) in the county and the usual suspects get together to stroke his ego

I wonder what was discussed ? ? I guess only the chosen few will know

Out of the game or not, I’d back Hammam’s knowledge of the game and what makes a successful club over Tan’s any day of the week, but I agree with you - Hammam’s time at the club has ended and his return would improve nothing, I somehow can’t see him making any debt to equity conversions.

Would Swanseas Trust have a meet up with Tony Petty?

I wonder if anything will be reported about what was discussed or is that all embargoed as well?

This thread is enough to make you slit your wrists. Unless you’re a glory hunter, then you are stuck with your team for life.
    Through thick and thin.
I’ve got a novel idea. Those making the trip to Watford today, myself included, let’s do something left field at this most toxic of times, with moral at an all time low, and get right behind the manager and team from the first minute to the last.Otherwise, what’s the point of going and spending our hard earned?
Our owner might be a cu*t, our manager might be shite, and the players might be just average, but not one of them will not try today.
They will be low on confidence, and probably fearing a backlash.
Being a supporter is not just about the good times.

Didn’t he recklessly just throw money at everything until he couldn’t afford it anymore, “debt that went with him when he left” until he then continuously took us to court to recoup it for “Langston”.

I wouldn’t say we were a well run club under him, didn’t we have to stop Thorne playing incase he scored because of a 10k bonus per goal, Kav shipped away on a helicopter, even Dave Jones agreed a deal with Ridsdale to come as manager and Sam walked in to double it for no apparent reason.

Not to say they weren’t absolutely brilliant times, a brilliant ride, amazing time to be a fan.

However I never thought of him as an intelligent owner.

I’ll be going nowhere near the shitehole that is Watford today. The club is fuc*ed from top to bottom. I’ve spent my last pound at the CCS..
Good luck with the booing, jeering , marching and any other form of protest. You’ll all be pissing into the wind with a dictator like ours.
The only way to make him take notice, is a few completely empty stadiums for the home games.
Good luck with that though, because we couldn’t even do that for the rebrand farce..

I’m a Trust member and was not happy that Keith was there. I have made enquiries of the Trust and, apparently, Keith was there in a personal capacity and not as a Trust rep. So, the Trust not meeting him. However, Keith was outnumbered by Supporters Club and Disabled Supporters Group reps so what was their position?
