Fantastic atmosphere , never seems to be any trouble , unless they keep it away from the cameras , lot of drunken "lads" in one place.
I dunno, the booing and chants against non-English players gets pretty tedious. Robert Owen is getting booed and jeered here for no reason other than him being Welsh

They could also do with some new chants in general, the Toures retired years ago!

It tends to work the other way if an Englishman is playing a German.

    Great, that shouldn't happen either

The treatment of Owen today has been ridiculous, support Rydz by all means but there's no need to boo Owen when he's on doubles, no need for the sheep shagger chants etc, you know the crowd are being bellends when the opponent is telling them to stop as Rydz has to his credit

I say it every year, they should move the venue around different countries, the partisan crowd totally spoilt that game. I hope Gezzy wins it but otherwise anyone bar the English.

Owen did himself no favours in the after match interview yesterday….came over as a complete pr1ck.

Think “Gezzy” gets boo’d for tensing and screaming a lot…and his ‘suntan’ doesn’t help! The Ferret doesn’t get boo’d…..and he’s Welsh.

I don't recall Richie Burnett getting booed either.

What is going on here ? Van Gerwyn was 40-1 on 10 minutes ago ....

On the subject of the crowd

I couldn't believe the support Peter Wright got last night .I don't really like him doesn't sound Scottish enough
    His darts were incredible though.

In the earleir rounds the crowd got onto the back off Calum something or other boyfriend of Fallon Sherrock and he fell apart,
couldn't throw the darts then started crying. I wasnt that fussed on him either but I felt that was a step too far for the crowd.

That was a decent contest between Littler and Joyce.

Price is out. Dobey wins 5-3. Price not really firing again.

Hasn’t been able to hit a double all tournament. Not even pub standard today.

Would love to see Bunting win the whole thing. He won't, but still.

    No.... he wont.

I guess we have to console ourselves that it looks like the fans favourite Dave Jones is on his way back to the city...

    I can't believe Bunting is only 39.

I'm sure the next match will be a lot better.

I thought he was about 50. He’s got a head like a thumb.

Anyone know how the crowd get their drinks? Is it table service or do they have to queue at a bar? Always wondered this, as everytime the cameras pan on to the crowd there doesn’t seem to be many folk wandering about.

Last time I went the bars and food outlets were in a different room, though this was some years ago. In the O2 they have bar staff wandering around with backpacks full of lager to use to refill glasses.

There was footage last night of one clown spilling a load of drink while trying to carry four five large jugs back to his table. I presume he'd had to go elsewhere to get it as he wasn't a staff member providing table service.
