He's quite remarkably unpopular given the election win wasn't that long ago. I also find him quite smarmy and I think there is some truth in the Tory attack line of "be a leader not a lawyer".

But I dont mind him. He seems fairly rational and isn't crossing any red lines for me.

The thing is our problems weren't all down to the Tories and they aren't all down to Labour. As many may recollect, I strongly opposed the constant anti-Tory stuff on here because it solved no problems whatsoever. All the problems still exist and now Labour just have to deal with them. So it's pointless just blaming them. I have no confidence they will solve things either but they deserve a chance.

I feel a bit differently in Wales where I think it is really important that Labour are kicked out in 2026, not least cos they've been in for so long but also because they are so dreadful.

Reform lead in two of the last three polls UK wide too btw. The shift in things from last July is remarkable really
