They weren’t children. They were adults. The shooter clearly didn’t like immigrants.

However the vast majority of deaths and injuries caused by terror attacks in Europe since 2000 have been perpetrated by non-white people of immigrant backgrounds, usually Muslims, especially so given the relative populations sizes of native Europeans and immigrants. To suggest otherwise would be churlish.
