It's certainly more enjoyable than it has been for a couple of years.
I felt the same when OGS was manager in the Premiership.we could get relegated but that's is part of the entertainment

Am I the only one enjoying the football at the moment?
Sure defensively we could be better at times , but even when we are behind you get the feeling we could do something positive .
Probably the best football I have watched since Dave Jones times (and we know the stick he got )
Sure we could get relegated but that's is part of the entertainment.
When I got to the stage I wasn't enjoying watching Cardiff to the point I was super negative I took a rest. It helped balance things for me and maybe that why I am enjoying it so much .
Anyone else actually enjoying going down and watching Cardiff play at the moment?

When did you take a rest and how long for?
I enjoyed most of the second half on Saturday. The first half was dire.
I ve enjoyed the games since Bulut was sacked . OK there have been some poor performances and Leeds was painful but I have not fallen asleep once on my sofa ! Living in Greece I watch all the games on my dodgy stick and I often fell asleep during the games since the McCarthy bore fest and the managers after him . At least we are witnessing some entertainment and have a number skillful but unpredictable players .
The first half was slow . As a derby it lacked something .
2 seasons ago I stopped coming , hardly used my season tickets (yes tickets)
Last season I wanted to come to some games and then every game , so renewed this season .
I look forward to the football and try to mix in as many aways as I can with the other things we do .
yes, I dont get to every game ( my coaching gets in the way )
I never really got to the stage of not enjoying us play, I guess because it was never a chore as I never got to every game
I have said that I started to take in local non-league games, while it doesnt come with the same connection, I pick a team to support ( been to a fair few Bath City games as they are local and its decent footbal in the nl ) But ive got to a few Chippenham games ( also called the bluebirds ) Been to a few Swindon Town, its all football, non-league games you can have a pint or 2 while watching the game
we have certainly looked brighter recently
Generally speaking, I agree with you - Riza's team is much more enjoyable to watch than Bulut's. As someone who spent years droning on about our dull "style of play", it's nice to see City trying to play better quality football. However, there are a couple of caveats to that - first, it's not just Saturday's game that produced a miserable first half at Cardiff City Stadium. You could write a description of the goalmouth action in the first half of our last four home league games on the back of a postage stamp. So, although the second halves of all of those matches was a big improvement on the first, the punters have only been getting forty five minutes of worthwhile action lately.
Secondly, it shouldn't follow that a more pleasing way of playing results in an inability to keep a clean sheet or a loss of heart and determination in important away games at the foot of the table. Apart from. the second quarter of the game, we rolled over and gifted Portsmouth the points last week and we only started to threaten the Oxford goal when we were three down in a shocking performance against a team that was right out of form at the time. We're softer and easier to play against in general when we play away as well and we'd be breaking the template of our season so far if we got anything out of tomorrow's match as our away record against the sides at the bottom of the table is dreadful.
I was at Oxford , it was indeed really awful.
Portsmouth was disappointing as they are a very limited side playing a way that suits them , we should be able to overcome that.
I still always look forward to the next game though, because I have seen enough to believe it could be enjoyable.
It's awful but better than under Bulut.
Least enjoyable season since dungeon years.
For better or worse, I can’t remember the last boring game. Boring periods/halves yes, but I don’t recall leaving a game recently thinking “that was dull, wish I’d left on 80mins”.
16 scored and 19 conceded in the last 10 games. Games never start feeling like they’ll end 1-0 or 0-0.
Kev apparently can’t remember as far back as Christmas, let alone a decade ago.
I'd agree with it being the most interesting style of football I've seen us play (at least for the last few years). It also has that element of the unknown - either via bringing in players I'd never heard of before (Salech, Alves) or developing some of the youngsters (even a local lad or two being given a chance).
The sad fact for me is that I'm hooked (have been since I was 5) - I'll be there whatever league we are in, but exciting attacking football and that unknown element make it much more interesting!
