Thread: Hat removal

    Hat removal

First time ever entering the ground last night I got asked to remove my baseball cap. When I asked why they said in case I was hiding something under it. No idea what they thought I might have under it, except for some thinning grey hair!

God help them for the Wales game coming up if everyone has to remove their bucket hats 😂

I was waved through. The steward reckoned that I'm part of the furniture!

The open coat policy really grinds my gears.
If I thought it did anything other than make me colder on a cold evening I'd be OK with it but it does fa.
Last nights check was even more ridiculous because I looked the Michealen man with 6 layers on.

Would have no issue with it myself, same with opening of coats etc. this day and age you dont know who wants to do what, takes a few seconds. Wont knock them, and appreciate it.

Gos forbid something bad happened and then people ask why this didnt happen or why it didnt happen.

You should always remove your hat when going indoors anyway. My grandad would have clipped you around the back of the head!

Dont think it would be as easy to take a turban off as it is a baseball cap.

When I went in last night they were happy with me opening my coat. Others were gatting a pat down. Seems a bit random.

Elsewhere that fella from Pompey, big hat and the fecking bell was refused entry to Luton last week because he wouldn't take his shoes off.

But if it's a security check and they are looking for weapons?

Maybe they'll need airport security scanners for those that refuse?

You could hide more under a turban than you can under a hat. Just goes to show how silly it all is .

If you had something hid in a turban it would be a bit of a production getting it out. When you go through customs, they'll sometimes look in the boot of your car. They could take your car to bits, but they're not going to.

At Bristol City we went for a pre match pint in their new stand .
Didn't have to open our coats they just checked us with those metal scanners.
