So the question is, why did his club vote for it?

As I said in my initial post it was a few months ago and from recollection he implied they didn’t really have much of an option as the new broadcasting deal was dependant on it.

He also said the EFL needed to get their own house in order instead of constantly throwing stones at the EPL as the clubs.
