Boycotts and protests are the only chance they'll change or go. Due process, they'll ignore. Steve Borley (the rebrand cheerleader) is sent out as a "fan" to tick a box. He's as bad as Tan, Dalman and Choo.
Im of the opinion that protests are just a waste of time for everyone involved, Tan isnt listening to the great unwashed as hell look at us.

The fan groups should just sever relationships with the club and actively make it as nasty as possible. Hit them where it hurts - it sure as hell isnt at the CCS.

    They should definitely stop engaging.

The last minutes are really depressing.

I've no problem with protests. The problem with the Tan Out one is there is no answer on an alternative?

I saw an interview on you tube and a fan was asked who do you want and the answer was David Sullivan.🤣🤣🤣🤣

A fan saying I want to go to the football thinking I may get my head kicked in. 🤣🤣🤣

We really are in a hopeless position.

The protests did work, we aren't playing in red anymore.

Genuine question here, did they? I remember a big one whilst we were in the Prem but can't recall any of substance the season after when we went down and the the kits were changed back to blue in the January. I personally think we'd still be in red if we had stayed up and that was more the driver, people turned up in their droves (myself included) when we were winning in red. Not so much the season we went down and were relatively middle of the pack.

The fans boycotted a game, which did the job

Only real protests start when we are struggling irrespective of colour of kit, we had huge crowds promotion season and premier league season in red.

Did we? Don't remember that but there we are. All semantics anyway, I barely remember what I did yesterday half the time.

Still, my general point stands that a protest won't achieve much in this instance

Yes, it was Colchester in the cup and then a week later, we were back in blue

If you hurt Tan's wallet, you get results

    It wasn't a boycott.

There were over 4,000 there for a Friday night fa Cup game. Live on tv. We were playing a 2nd team. V Colchester.

Russell slade had been appointed a few months before and yes morale was low. Just after Xmas.

The crowd wasn't that different to other home cup games before and since.

It was a boycott, it was the lowest crowd ever at CCS for any game, by nearly 1500.

Whether the organisers were smart doesn't matter, it worked. 8 days later we played in blue. It wasn't a coincidence.

Going round Twitter from I assume the fans meeting recently about a player that was asked to go and visit a lifelong supporter from the valleys who is in his final days and the player refused. Cian Ashford had to step in. Story told by Corky so assume this is correct if anyone on here can confirm?

No mention of the player but he should never play for us again

If it's on twitter it must be true. Ffs.

Same as the ive been told Robinson stormed out and yet another incredible extremely reliable source said Rizas been sacked. ( the 2nd extremely reliable source in about 3 weeks which turned out to be bollox)

The worrying thing is so many fans believe the shit on twitter and these utterly useless sources.

What possible reason can there be? I very much doubt it was a specific time on a specific day

I came to Cardiff to Uni and started supporting them as a result. I am Welsh though so not sure if it counts

Direct quote from paul on twitter just now as those central stand idiots were repeating it. Paul said

"Lads if you are going to put things out to the public you have to be accurate ...this is total rubbish you are putting out..no players refused . I went with Cian to meet Dewi."

It could have been too close home to home for the player, maybe he lost someone recently.
I'm sure there could be many reasons...anyway, it appears it wasn't true anyway.

I'm sure there wasn't a boycott - I went along to that game and I'm pretty sure it was a combination of general frustration at how the club was progressing, Slade's boring football, unattractive opposition and the fact it was being shown live on TV that brought about the low crowd. Of course, the rebrand was.a leading factor in supporter dissatisfaction at the club and the low turn out seemed to be the straw that broke the camel's back as far as playing in red went, but there was no organised boycott of the game as I recall it - I almost certainly would not have gone if there had been.

Spot on. Pedro's rewriting history. Only a tiny number of us ever boycotted the club as a result of the rebrand. Lots of fans were uncomfortable about playing in red and plenty of people gradually became disillusioned with the situation at the club for the variety of reasons you've outlined. However, the number who actively boycotted the club was very small and there was never a game at which a formal boycott took place.

There are some City fans (like me) who took a long time to return following the rebrand reversal and there are some who have never returned (I know several), but the more lasting impact of Tan's folly was a significant change in the way many established supporters feel about the club.
