I really struggle to watch Sky’s Golf coverage these days if Faldo is commentating - a very strange, and boring, individual.

Really pleased for McIltoy though - I never thought he’d win another major, especially after he shot 80 odd in the first round of the Open a few years book.

I don't normally watch golf but made an exception with this one. Sporting drama of the highest order. I like Justin Rose but so glad Rory Mcilroy won. Thought he'd blown it at least 4 times, but it helped massively that DeChambeau's challenge melted away - what a shame.😊

Really pleased for McIltoy though - I never thought he’d win another major, especially after he shot 80 odd in the first round of the Open a few years book.

I think that is why Butch Harmon and others got so emotional upon his win, the raw emotion was palpable.
McIlroy divides opinion but whether you like him or not nobody can deny his tremendous fortitude.

I think he will win many more majors after finally getting this monkey off his back.

I agree!! Bizarre really, Rory can be a bit marmite at times, but I do think most of the sporting world wanted him to complete this damn grand slam after all these years
