    Re: Next Manager thread

    This list is today's WOL.

    Cardiff City next manager odds
    Aaron Ramsey 3/1
    Gary O'Neil 8/1
    Steven Gerrard 12/1
    Sean Dyche 12/1
    Steve Cooper 12/1
    Rob Edwards 12/1
    Liam Rosenior 14/1
    Wayne Rooney 14/1
    Neil Warnock 14/1
    Ian Holloway 16/1
    David Wagner 16/1
    Des Buckingham 16/1
    Shaun Maloney 16/1
    Ryan Mason 16/1
    Darren Moore 16/1
    Grant McCann 16/1
    Nathan Jones 16/1
    Noel Hunt 16/1
    Richie Wellens 16/1
    Ralph Hasenhutl 20/1
    Rob Page 20/1
    Leighton Baines 20/1
    Leam Richardson 20/1
    Graham Alexander 20/1

I'd take Steve Cooper, Rob Edwards, Liam Rossenior or Des Buckingham from that list (assuming Gary O'Neil wouldn't manage in league one, although I don't suppose Steve Cooper would either).

It's a frightening thought, but entirely feasible.

Sean Dyche won't be dropping to league one either. And I doubt Ralph Hasenhutl would leave Wolfsburg to manage in league one.

The six after Ramsey are utter nonsense. Rob Page even on that list is a frightening thought however.

If we discount the first six after Ramsey that makes Wayne Rooney favourite.

Good to see the bookies or Wales online taking the piiss by placing Gerrard, Cooper, O'Neil and Dyche in the running.

A chance he picks up the phone to say 'no thank you' and not just ignore the call

Imagine if we could bring in O'Neil and give him the freedom to recruit and implement the necessary changes; that’s exactly the kind of reset the club needs. It’s probably a long shot, but we definitely need to bring real football expertise into the club.

Definite long shot sadly unless you mean Martin.

    Aye, that's more likely.

I would imagine he could easily get a strong Championship promotion project

Work our way down from there if he declines, but we should be aiming higher than we have been. Someone will fancy it, with the right budget, it could be a good project for someone half decent.

Without sounding like an entitled Cardiff City fan, what has Gary O'Neil done? Both clubs that he coached sacked him, and dramatically improved when he left with the same players.

He is just a name that gets tossed around.

We have no idea with Tan, Des Buckingham or Rob Edwards have lower league form in the book, i'd take that over a name

I think this forthcoming season will see more manager merry go arounds than ever before in the football league

Cameron Toshack the front runner for the Newport county job remember him !

    Re: Next Manager thread

Why don't they hand the managerial responsivities over to this message board?

    Re: Next Manager thread

I’d go for Bradley Walsh, when the team has a shit first half, he could tell them all that they’re better players than that. He says it every evening during The Chase to f*ckwits who can’t even get their own name right.

If Paddy Deboys is involved, we've got no chance
