Espn suggests hes more of a bowler who can bat a bit, rather than a batter who can bowl.
Might be a useful addition for the T20 but can't see him adding anything to what we already have for 4 day matches.

Should be a useful addition. Genuine all rounder and used to being part of a Sydney sixers side that is generally very competitive

Would agree with you there. I'd be surprised if he plays much 4 day stuff

    Re: GLAMMY

He’s not played much four day stuff, but his averages aren’t bad, has a top score of 98 not out in Tw0.

    Re: GLAMMY

Northants win the toss and, unusually for Cardiff, decide to bat.

    Re: GLAMMY

It started with a much improved performance v derby when they nearly grabbed victory from what seemed the absolute certainty of defeat. Followed it with a superb 3 day ‘romp’ v Kent and now a very positive 2 days v northants. Couple of observations, well done Andy gorvin - like a new signing this season - and what a disastrous arrangement for glammy the bashir loan was - I know that’s been covered, but I’m still shaking my head at it!

    Re: GLAMMY

Fantastic from Kellaway again. My words have been well and truly eaten, he's turning into a fine player. The way that Timm and Gorvin are combining runs and wickets is brilliant. Is it too early to mention the P word? Maybe this could be our year

    Re: GLAMMY

Asa Tribe and Ul- Hassan have been excellent recently in getting the innings off to a decent start. That's taken the pressure off the middle order massively. That coupled with Kellaway and Gorvin stepping up and Fernando seeming more settled, it's been a great turnaround.

Yes, I’d say it is too early to mention the P word - I’m still not counting any chickens in the current game. We’re home to Middlesex next week, the team that ALWAYS beats us in the red ball game in Cardiff - if we win that one, I might start believing!

    Northants 108-5.
