Thread: I make no apology and confirm that

I make no apology and confirm that

The petition is still there, and has found legs again with the farcical/comical managerial circus we are now finding ourselves in.

I'm not going to argue the point with anyone.

If you don't do anything like the majority of our supporters then, Tan will take us down further and further and fur.......

Very few will disagree that the club is a shit show, but please tell me who in their right mind is going to pay upwards of £100m to Tan.
We are stuck with him until.
1 He gets fed up and sells at a hefty discount
2 He puts us into administration
    3 He dies.

And please don't tell me Sam is waiting in the wings after he took us to the verge of bankruptcy.
I just cannot see a couple of hundred fans protesting outside the ground will achieve anything, unless there is a plan B.

So Tan takes notice of this petition, ups sticks tomorrow, walks away but insists the club pay what’s due to him. The club ceases to exist, you’ve got your way, Tan’s gone but so is Cardiff City. That’s about the reality of it. Please inform us of your alternatives to this and if there’s concrete evidence that all would be well if he’s ousted and it’s 100% onwards & upwards, I’ll sign.

To be fair hes not suggesting Sam is waiting in the wings.

You'd have to be completely deluded to think Sam could afford Newport or even Merthyr let alone us. Getting rid of Sam is one of the positives you can credit Tan for.

Best form of protest against this shit show is probably vote with your feet and don't go.

Definitely need a strong fans group who can oppose the way the club is run but there's a big divide with fractions ridiculing others. We really don't help ourselves do we.?

We badly need a new owner. But it looks as though the interest is zero.

Your last paragraph sums the situation up

    So let me get this.

Tan owns Cardiff City, which he over values. So so he upsticks and insists the clubs he owns pay all the money they owe him? They can't so he then takes proceedings against Cardiff City?
So a court would appoint administrators who'll sell at a massive discount so Tan gets some of his money back and we have a new owner.

I am lost at the logic

And we’re looking for two actors from over the Atlantic to get us out of the National League.

Everything mentioned is frustrating. But I fail to see how it impacts upon him being a 'fit and proper person'. He pays the wages, and he's a legit businessman by all accounts . This seems a weird avenue to go down. The football authorities aren't going to reconsider the fit and proper person status just because we've been relegated and keep hiring crap managers.

Takes a while to get there.

Tan is between a rock and a hard place. The Premier League is his way out, but we are so far from that it's off the calculation.

He doesn't want to lose any money, so he is not going to go all crazy Ivan and lose the lot. We are on a downward spiral, even an American hedge fund would have a better crack at it.

I have no idea what his way out is, probably sell at a big loss and move on. There is always a buyer at the right price.

We must have missed points deductions by the width of a fag paper under previous regimes.

As I say, I'm not arguing the point. There's toxic and there's excuses.

If you want Tan gone then grow a set and sign the petition.

I s’pose Tan has no idea what his way out is either. His ineptitude in football, a different kettle of fish completely to his other business ventures I’d imagine, has landed him in this quandary. His suspicion of football types has bitten him on the arse financially. A rock and a hard place is the perfect description of the situation.

Lets be honest, he has been stung by old school football types, but i have no idea why he hasn't recruited a DoF who only reports to him and signs off every football transaction, even if that was Russell Slade, the only person he hasn't sacked or walked.

Of all the phonies, shysters, out of their depth etc types we’ve had at the helm, Russell Slade does seem to be a ‘straight down the middle’ type. Don’t know a thing about him bar that he was once our manager so I may be way off the mark.

“Grow a set and sign the petition”

Haha it’s not the ****ing suffragette movement or the International Brigade. Whats the tally at now? 600ish people? Tan will have sleepless nights if it hits 700.

I couldn't agree more, he's also got the fAnS lEadeR on his side from the other board, claiming huge attendances at these protest when they probably number a few hundred

in todays football world we would have had a few imho

Re: I make no apology and confirm that

Whilst I agree with the sentiment of needing Tan gone, I can't sign the petition with the wording as it is. He passes the fit and proper rules; it's the practicalities of running a football club, and realising it's different to running a retail business, that he fails on.

I know you have the best interests of Cardiff City uppermost with this petition, but I can assure you that it will not get rid of Tan.

The EFL will not remove him, because he does NOT fail the ‘fit and proper’ tests.

People are choosing not to sign - not because they haven’t got a pair, but because it is a petition that is a waste of time.

This is not a dig at you, it’s just a fact.

But didn’t he promise to leave us in better shape than he found us? That 20 million debt to langstone seems like spare change compared to what he’s cost the club, and let’s not forget it is mainly all his doing that it’s cost him so much. Maybe he should do the honourable thing and just walk away, what with ‘honour’ being such a big deal in the far east……

🤣 I bloody well wish they would

Re: I make no apology and confirm that

No one has mentioned something that seems blindingly obvious. Tan will not contemplate selling until the case against F.C. Nantes is settled . If the Court finds in favour of the City, Tan has a number of other legal avenues he could go down which could bear further significant fruit I.e. money. Suing FIFA and the EFL for peremptorily imposing sanctions on the Club before the full facts of the Sala case were known could be two of them.
