I know what you mean but Ornstein reporting it is as factual as it gets and he says no interest in Plymouth. If it was coming from Glen or Wales Online I’d not believe it for a second but zero doubt this is true in my opinion. I just hope they aren’t leaking it as they’ve nearly reached the end of the road.

I listened to ornstein be interviewed on i think it was the rest is football podcast. Not relevant to bale but yeah he went through his process before sharing a story. Has to be cross referenced in so many places before sharing. Hes not always the quickest out for that reason but if hes shared this then its absolutely genuine.
Doesnt mean tan will sell as obviously nobody can predict that not even tan probably but the story is true.
I wonder if Tan said to them, let me settle the Sala case then we can talk?
Can't see him selling to anyone until that happen.
The sudden defence of Tan reeks of Stockholm syndrome and old-school masochism. Like yes, he's not Chansiri, but that's not a hard bar to clear.
He just confirmed he’s very interested and that they’ve been in touch with Cardiff live on Sky Sports News
Gareth Bale just said he’d love to be involved in a takeover of @CardiffCityFC . ‘It’s a club close to my heart, the Welsh/Cardiff fans are amazing and we’d love to try to take them to the Premier League’.
More to come out in due course, he says.
WOW!!!

Bale:
"We are interested in getting Cardiff.
"It's my home club, it's where I grew up and my uncle used to play for them. To be involved with an ownership group would be a dream come true.
"It's a club close to my heart. It's where I grew up and I would love to be able to be a part of growing Cardiff and taking it to the Premier League where it belongs.
"I know how amazing the Welsh fans and Cardiff fans are. It would be amazing to try and do something together."
"We are trying to engage with Cardiff and more news will come out on that in the future but hopefully we can get something done."
What lunacy
Do you think we are the only club to have struggled - in fact we have done so for much of our existence having only been in the top flight for two seasons in the last 70. And it’s easy to list a whole number of clubs that are under achieving and an an even longer list if you ask the fans.
As has been said, we know nothing about who is in this consortium or their plans and commitment to the club. What will you say if they want to rebrand?
Clearly Tan has made mistakes but CCFC has cost him in the region of £250m and you and others expect him to take the first offer and walk away.
Let’s hope that the consortium offers an acceptable price, has the wherewithal to continue to fund the losses and an ambitious plan that they can deliver and fans buy into.
A potential buy out gives hope of a better future.
We will just continue to decline under Tan.
We've got to do whatever we can to push this through the door. I give full support to Bale and his consortium and hope negotiations can be made.
I was hoping if there was anything in this it would reach a higher level of media news than local to Wales to at least draw a response from the club
Surely he has had permission/agreement to be so open on this ??
Interesting to see what, if any reply the club gives
