Well I don't think you'll ever see Iron Maiden there...
Iron Maiden frontman Bruce Dickinson has no interest in playing Glastonbury: "I've always said I'd turn it down if we were ever invited. I don't want to perform in front of Gwyneth Paltrow and a perfume-infested yurt."

I missed English Teacher earlier so that's one I'll try to catch on repeat.
Theres plenty of other more established acts I'll watch including Self Esteem who's just started. Green Tea Peng who recently played Tramshed could also be worth a watch.

An acquired taste, but you do get a skilled group of young musicians who are conservatoire trained. You'd never find Sludge at one of their gigs though.

Love watching Glastonbury on the telly but would never want to go there. Wallowing around for 4 or 5 days in other people's sweat, piss and shit without being able to wash just doesn't appeal to me.

    I think that it’s a mind set.
I was FaceTiming one of my best Mates back in Newport earlier this evening and he’s trying to convince me to come back and go to The Green Man Festival.
He’s 52 and still loves finding new bands with the enthusiasm that we did when we were teenagers.
A good few years ago we went to see Sleaford Mods at Cardiff Uni, which was fantastic and followed up by a dub dj session back in Newport.

I used to go to TJ’s and Le Pub watching live music every week.

Last show that made me get up of my arse was Stiff Little Fingers about 5 years ago.
Now it just seems like a ballache to jump on the metro for an hour to watch someone.

When I first got here, I was at the 930 Club every other week.

I’m listening to Bruce Springsteen - Nebraska as I type this.

Maybe I should fall in love with speed again :)
