Brilliant end and great for Bashir. Thats probably the last we'll see of him in the series aswell, if his finger is broken.

How sad it is to see the demise of the once great Cricketing force and their seemingly never ending production line of top fast bowlers and batsmen 😢

There's not much wrong with their bowling. Jayden Seales and the Joseph's are a decent trio who've bowled out the Aussies 6 times in the series, only once for over 300. The problem is the batting. Kragg Brathwaite has played 100 tests, mainly as opener, and has a worse average than Crawley. Their best players seek their fortune in franchise cricket.

Brathwaite has a better average than Crawley and they play on absolute minefields. You can't bat on their decks. Nobody got a ton this series, it's the lowest average runs in any 3 match series where they've completed games. Australia were terrible with the bat too, and the pink ball is a farce.

It is a crisis but it is money, the ICC have to start giving the lesser nations a financial incentive to play tests, and introduce windows to play franchise cricket
