You're undoubtedly correct as there are just so many of them. Given the fact that literally anybody, anywhere can set up a podcast or a YouTube channel if they so desire, the law of averages dictates that some of those people will eventually work in the mainstream media. But that doesn't mean the vast majority of amateur 'content' on YouTube is anything other than garbage.
