The first is “an altercation between passengers” from Qatar Airways flight QR023 that arrived at 7.20pm, which they said may have taken place on the flight or in T2 baggage hall.
All I have read is that the two people who assaulted the police officers were near a Terminal 2 car park pay point. Where did you get the evidence that they were involved in the altercation between passengers either on the flight or in the T2 baggage hall?
It's not 100% clear but "The altercation may have taken place during the flight or afterwards in the T2 baggage hall" they said,. They are also probing a "violent disturbance involving members of the public in the T2 Starbucks" at at approximately 8.22pm.
This was then followed by "the assault of three police officers which occurred in the T2 car park pay point area at 8.28pm" they said. "This resulted in the three officers receiving head injuries, including a broken nose" they added.
They are now asking anyone who witnessed any of the incidents to come forward. They have opened a Public Portal where information, images and video can be shared.

I also read another article but can't remember where.
Yes I read all that and have previously posted it. The only reference to the first incident on the plane or baggage hall was the arrested pair's lawyer (now no longer) stating that their mother who was flying from Pakistan to Manchester was a subject of racial abuse.
There is no supporting evidence for this claim but it is certainly unclear whether the two in the video were arriving on a plane or waiting for it!
You could certainly paint a scenario of an aggreived mother informing her kids of abuse/assault and them seeking retribution in a coffeee shop but that would be speculation on my part rather than jumping to conclusions.
Yes they may be making the first part up, but something had gone on before the police arrived. Some reports say it stated on the plane, it will all come out over the next few weeks.

Who allegedly started altercation with the mother?
The chaos at Manchester Airport is now thought to have followed a mid-air row involving the mother of the two men.
Family sources claimed Fahir and Amaad Khan were defending their mother when they were taken into custody by police after she arrived from Pakistan .
The mother was allegedly involved in a row during the flight with a male passenger - with insiders alleging that while she was picking up her luggage in Terminal 2, the same man pushed her with his trolley and made racist comments towards her.
It is claimed that the mother later pointed him out to her sons, and one then confronted the man - before a physical altercation that saw the police called.
However nothing more is known about the man, or why the incident began on the plane. It is also not clear whether he was one of the people arrested by police.
Four men were arrested at the scene for affray and assault on emergency service workers, but Greater Manchester Police have not confirmed their identities.
3. What happened on the plane?
The chaos is believed to be linked back to the flight from Pakistan that landed at Manchester Airport on Tuesday, but little is known about what actually happened.
The Daily Telegraph reported that the family told the newspaper that 'words were spoken between a middle-aged woman of Asian descent and another passenger'.
Greater Manchester Mayor Andy Burnham told BBC Radio 4's World At One yesterday that the mother told her sons there had been 'an issue on the flight' and 'pointed somebody out and then there was an altercation in the arrivals hall'.
But this is all that is known of what happened in flight, and no video footage or further details have been released by any of the passengers on board.
There is also unlikely to have been any police bodycam footage of any on-board incidents because officers are not believed to have been called to the plane.
Fella is guilty.

The video footage inside the airport is brutal.
The cop that booted the guy in the head and stamped on him has to be reprimanded and dealt with. Not many excuses for him, other than human rage, over took his professionalism.
What I’ll say about the incident, is if that WPC who had her nose broken, had been a family member of mine, and I’d been there, the guys skin colour wouldn’t have meant a jot to me. I’d have set about him, and did a bit more damage than the cop did.
Absolute scum.
