Another test for the squad and a team (like Luton) that should play more expansive football might suit us more.

Toughest game of the season so far - and if the bookies are correct in their pre-season estimations - the toughest game we will play in the league this season.

Luton play expansive football? Are you sure you're talking about the right club?

it's all relative - they'll probably be getting fewer men behind the ball than Wimbledon were

This time you're right - toughest game of the season so far, at least on paper.

In the bookies' pre-season lists, Peterborough were ranked 15th, Port Vale 20th, Rotherham 13th and Wimbledon 24th.

The Racing Post pundits had Peterborough finishing 16th, Port Vale 20th, Rotherham 14th and Wimbledon 23rd.

Before a ball was kicked, the bookies rated Luton as favourites for the League One title and still do, while the Post pundits had them finishing 3rd.

Saturday's game should give us a clearer indication of where we are, I reckon. Hopefully, now is a good time to play at Luton before things have really settled down.

We also have Stockport away in the not so distant future who are joint 3rd favourites for promotion with ourselves, combine that with Bradford who will be a difficult game at home we'll know in the next 4 or 5 games what the season holds. We've had a kind start which we've taken advantage of and built up some confidence, but there are some big tests incoming.

I'd personally be very happy with a draw on Saturday, I'm kind of expecting a thump back down to earth and our first defeat.

    2-0 Luton.

2 best defences in the league playing on Saturday. 3 goals conceded in 8 games for both teams.

I imagine whoever wins will win it 1-0

    Trott
    Kpakio-Fish-Lawlor-Bagan
    Wintle
    Turnbull-RC
    Ashford-Salech-Davies

Bench: Turner, Chambers, King, JC, Willock, Nyakuhwa, Robinson

I think you reward Turnbull and Davies for their goal contribution by starting them, Turnbull has looked excellent, and while Joel has played well too, I think Turnbull should start for his assist work past couple of games.

If Ng and Robertson are available, hopefully we can work them back into the squad. Maybe Ng for Robinson and Robertson for Nyakuhwa.

Thought Chambers did OK while he was on, but not enough to replace Wintle.

No issues with that team, looks about right. Ng in for Robinson is insane however, whilst he might not have started well Robinson is our only other striker, he has to be in the squad. Looking at that bench, I'd have to assume Eli King along with Nyakuhwa will be the players being replaced with those due back. There's 3 midfielders in the current bench if you are including Chambers as a bit of swiss army knife option (though nowhere near as effective).

The pundits had Luton and Hudds tipped for promotion and we were nowhere to be seen . I hope we smash them.

They're not 1/1 position changes, I'm not saying Ng is playing striker. But you're right, King is probably better replaced than Robinson. Don't forget Davies can play striker too though.

All I'm hoping is for a half competent ref.

With only one signing a keeper you didn't think you would be saying that did you? Although he's part of the reason they trust him feel less panic.

5 losses on the bounce to Luton so a 1-0 defeat to a far post header wouldn't shock me
