I didn't agree with Blakey, but I could see where he was coming from - definitely think Joel is more of a Bellamy type player than last season's Rubin, but the older brother is a completely different player this season as evidenced by the runs he was making in the closing minutes on Saturday. Going back to the first day of training, was there any City fan who was not surprised when they heard that Rubin has won the bleep tests? Rubin's a different player this season - fitter, stronger and he seems to have discovered some aerial ability from somewhere. It'll be really interesting to see the seniopr squad when it's announced because I reckon there'll be at least one City player in there, not sure it'll be Rubin though as he's being played in a very attecking role by City and Wales have a lot of cover from the top two divisions for that position.
