He is always fouling.
He gives the ball away cheaply.
He doesn't hold the long ball up, as a 6 ft 5 lump should.
He doesn't score enough goals...this season

I was just thinking how all our players look better at this level as you would expect them to but Salech looked better at championship level.
He's proven his quality when we were struggling in the Championship. His form might have dipped a little this season, but we're clearly not as dependent on him right now. For what it's worth, his positioning is good, but we often don't tend to play a ground game and feed our striker as opposed to focusing on a lot of wing play. So Salech is going to get less involvement outside of a good header when he can.
It seems as though the system isn’t suited but he will be fine and score a hatful of goals.
I think Ken Dodd's Dad's Dog is alive and kicking.
It's all about opinions!
He does the dog work in this system and is constantly taking the ball under pressure, whilst holding off defenders to bring others into play so that we can move through the gears quickly. He may not score as many as last year but his contribution will be just as big.
Notice how we could barely make the ball stick and were penned in by Cheltenham in the last 15 mins quite often … once he went off.
What? I must have some alcohol as my opinion couldn’t be more the opposite. Thought he was outstanding tonight, especially his hold up play. He took up all the aggro which freed up the midfield & wingers.
Good players get singled out by the opposition, they know he’s a good player. While he’s having his battles, others are finding space to knock it about, we’ve got defences rattled, whether passing it around them or Salech getting physically involved, it’s all good stuff.
I've expressed my opinions before and was probably in a 1% minority ! But I still struggle to see what people see in him. He's almost pathologically slow on the ground, either moving, with the ball at his feet, or trying to score. So last night the defender [of the worst team on the EFL] effectively had him in his pocket. Salech never once came off his marker preferring to grapple it out with him - he barely won the ball once, and then gave it away when he did. He'll score some goals from crosses and corners, but the hype around him has been massively overdone..
Can't help thinking that the question in the thread title only gets asked because Salech is not scoring more often. It's funny, last season when. he was scoring at a really good rate for someone playing in a bottom of the table team, I wasn't completely convinced by him mainly because, when he got within, say, twenty five yards of goal, the blinkers would come on as better placed colleagues were ignored and he'd look to shoot - to use the hilarious phrase which i think Andy Townsend has copyright of, he was nkt "picking his head up" to look for other options or to use another beauty "he didn't have his head on a swivel".
Although, I'm sure Salech is unhappy at not scoring against such a generous defence last night, as it tuyrns out, I thought he had a very good game with his awareness of team mates' positioning as good as I've ever seen it.
