I know of him. I've watched some of his content. Some people will disagree with him, but I don't think they will -or should- disagree with his style, which is typically polite and taking questions and fairly respectfully answering them, challenging assumptions and prejudices etc. Really, he does things the way they should be done, and his debates are interesting.

Unlikely, this is the guy that said gun deaths are worth it to protect the second amendment. If they don't amend gun laws when children get shot I doubt they'll do it because someone hugely pro gun did

I didn't like or agree with a thing he said. Unfortunately his death IMO will lead to those on the far right the to claim that all lefties are loonies and polarise politics even further.

Actually you both will have very likely agreed with a lot of what he said, and how he said it. Just as many on the right will agree with much that Corbyn or any left wing activist will say when given the time to listen.

The problem here is that it's becoming 'acceptable' in the USA, to shoot politician who's views you don't agree with. Some may say it's always been that way, and that the Trump shooting was faked, but a lot of people on the right believe it was real. Makes you wonder who will be next.
I don't think most people think it's acceptable but you will always have deranged fools with access to powerful weapons who think it's acceptable to kill anyone for any possible sleight or even no real reason.
Surely most people, right, left, centre, whatever would agree the Trump assassination attempt was real, particularly when you have very similar events like yesterday.

Can you imagine if we did? It’s mental to think you can just have a gun over there….i think this country is in a mess sometimes but looking across the pond you realise it’s not that bad….
