The Other Bob Wilson is correct. The Trust has always co-opted people onto its board to fill vacancies not filled at the AGM. In fact three new board members have joined since 2024.

Sixty or so people join the Trust in a very short time, 28 of them then immediately seek to force an early election of the suggests to me that there is a co-ordinated takeover bid underway which, if successfu,l would undermine the wide-ranging work of the board. It looks highly suspicious. Is it attempt to remove the chair who appears to have upset one individual?

Those 28 should withdraw their resolution, look to work with the board going forward, let see what they have to offer and then seek election to fill vacancies at the normal election time in the new year. And if they don't the suspicions will only grow and I hope Trust members will firmly reject their resolution.
