Manager Craig Bellamy insists Wales will not be "tourists" when they face England in a friendly at Wembley on Thursday.
Wales take on Thomas Tuchel's side off the back of a disappointing friendly defeat by Canada in September, yet still have a good chance of qualifying for next summer's World Cup in North America.
Wales sit third in qualifying Group J and face a pivotal game against Belgium in Cardiff on Monday, 13 October.
"We are here tomorrow to come and play our brand of football in difficult circumstances, in an incredible place like Wembley," said Bellamy.
"It is excitement. We are not here as tourists to enjoy the occasion. We are here to be the best version of ourselves."

Match Facts:
England have won each of their last seven meetings with Wales across all competitions and the Three Lions are only currently on longer winning streaks against three nations: Luxembourg (9), Andorra (8) and San Marino (8).
Wales have only won one of their 24 away games against England post WW2 (D6 L17), a 1-0 win at old Wembley in May 1977, with Leighton James scoring the winning goal from the penalty spot.
England have scored in each of their last 16 games across all competitions, their joint-longest run this century – they last scored in 17 straight between June 1990 and June 1991.
Wales have lost two of their last three matches (W1), after losing just one of 19 matches beforehand (W9 D9) – they haven’t lost back-to-back games since June 2023 (vs Armenia and Türkiye).
Belgium line up tonight?
Then taking a few off on the mythical 60th minute?
at least we wont have to put up with those two commentators from bbc wales![]()
Gotta say I am really looking forward to watching this later, far more than any usual friendly, for obvious reasons. Interested to see how a passionate welshman like Bellamy treats it, and indeed how England treat is as a Wales win isn't out of the question at all.
Think i may get a Chinese in ya know.
Haven’t seen us lose to them at Wembley, one win, one draw and that record won’t be spoilt tonight as, although I had a ticket, a last minute hospital appointment has taken preference. Looking forward to it on the box though.
Have a ticket but really can't find any enthusiasm for this match.
Two teams with more important fixtures coming up so it will probably end up being a glorified trainng session.
I was just reading a BBC article and it turns out that the last Wales victory in England (at Wembley in 1977) was my first Wales away game. Peter Sayer played in that one. I was also at the 0-0 draw in 1979. Phil Dwyer played in that game. I loved Wales games when I was a kid, but the older I got the more my enthusiasm dipped. Looking forward to watching tonight's game on TV, though.
Hope the hospital appointment went well and you're doing OK.
This is great.
💙 Tonight at Wembley, Chris Griffiths will walk out with the Wales team for the Alzheimer's Society–dedicated fixture against England.
Chris is a lifelong Cardiff City fan and a regular member of our 1927 Club, where people living with dementia come together every Thursday to connect through their love of football.
As Chris says, it’s “somewhere where people like him can just be themselves.” 💫
Watch the walkout just after 7:35pm on ITV tonight 📺

Yep Dave that’s my 2 Wembley Wales/England games.
Did you see us at Velindre today? 3 appointments in one visit, all very encouraging. I’m determined to beat it and I’m on my way slowly to that. Thanks Dave, if you were there, should have come over for a chat, although my blood pressure level is one item that’s of most concern
I hope you’re not in the same boat as me seeing as you knew I was there, if so, best wishes, it can be beaten![]()
