I have to say you have a point and I am certainly not without sin in that regard. But also not without a fair degree of justification.

For what it is worth I believe Ninian62 that it is only his sign-in. However the new member upthebluebirds seems very aligned and supportive to the current Trust leadership so in the current climate of what seems hostility I can understand your suspicions.

That said I am bemused at the collective tactics of those seeking change. The original 350 are obviously suspicious of motive, enough for those raising the resolution to call it off.

I would have thought the best way of overcoming that suspicion is to set out the fresh ideas for making the Trust a more effective tool as early as possible and solidifying them over the next 7 months leading up to the AGM. Indeed the lead spokesman Cantonendblue talks of breaking down the "them and us" barriers.

Yet discussions across messageboards have become quite personal targetting of individuals including accusations of fraud and corruption.

I have no idea how that helps break down barriers. Nor do I understand why you and the fresh blood think that saying all will be revealed at the AGM in May is somehow going to win hearts and minds in the interim.

To be honest I appreciate your measured and honest approach and I’m sure things will settle down in due course , FWIW members will be very careful to air their opinions on this board in future which is predictable and definitely detrimental to the cause.
