Should be moved around the country periodically imo.

Newcastle, Everton, both Manchester clubs and Villa (especially after their expansion) could all host it and it’s an event away from London. Throw in Cardiff and that covers most regions of the UK.

You are absolutely right, especially on cul semis and nearly every football fan would agree. Its served to undermine the cup final by having the semis there too.

I know some semis were at Wembley before it was renovated (Arsenal v spurs and the Sheffield derby are clear memories for me) but it was pretty rare. I recollect the stated reason for the change was that the funding of Wembley is based on x number of games and the two semi finals are key to that.
