Isn't that what Trump is also suing Panorama and the BBC for? Both will have a low starting point.

Either you think that 97.3% of rapists are getting away with it, or 97.3% of victims are liars.

People like Sullivan and Brand deserve whatever comes to them

Tricky one, although I take a similar view, there are not many convictions for false allegations either. The consensual potential cases are extremely hard to prove either way, that would be why.

Going off the bits I've read this morning, and I haven't seen the programme, I don't see him being charged with anything.

Morally wrong, not a good guy, sex pest etc. I'm sure this sort of thing, to varying degrees of course was fairly common from men in power, particularly that industry. Even in my time of working, last 20 years there has been a massive shift.

Yes of course, I wasn't saying it was right, just agreeing with someone that times and judgments and opinions on many things have changed.

The thing that strikes me about this and other similar reports that have been appearing this week is they make no mention of the fact that, in reality, everyone knew exactly what the Sunday Sport and the Daily Sport (and Sullivan himself) were all about. Nevertheless, these publications were sold to anyone who wanted to buy them by all of the major newsagent chains, as well as the major supermarkets.
