If labour cannot win this one put a bomb under the party and start a new centre left one with the liberals

Labour have only had 1 decent leader in my lifetime but he soon turned into a snake

If that is the case - do you ever get the feeling the country has no appetite for this type of politics ? (except in Wales where Labour have been in power for 26 years come the next Senedd elections)

This country is a centre right voting on the system we have ....but the majority of people don't vote for the conservatives

That suggests a party that could appeal to the majority would be successful

We have the Tories then we have a split opposition

I genuinely think that people don't like left wing politics as they don't like right wing politics and want something just left of centre , moderate

That answer reminds me of Michael Foot - when he wouldnt concede he or his policies were to blame. Instead he thought that the people of the UK didnt vote for him was because his policies werent left wing enough.

The Uk govt usually goes to any party that occupies the middle ground. Tony Blair did it - as did Cameron. I wont bother mentioning the Corbyn elections or the Liz Truss fiasco etc.

Wales is and always votes Labour - 26 years of it and yet some still moan 12 years of conservatives is too long.

Ive probably lost faith in all sides - or maybe just long in the toot to believe the Labour or Conservative lines any more.

Really , I find that quite sad. You will keep voting for the same old sad male pale and stale boyos who have a glorified rugby club committee mentality. 26 years of Labour control , from what I can tell you have a bee in your bonnet about health, wealth and education etc and yet ironically these are things that the Senedd are in control of - and have made a dogs breakfast of all of it.

Welsh Labour must love people like you - who will always vote for them no matter how poor Welsh Labour perform. All politicians need to be kept on their toes - the moment they think they have your vote, no matter what they do - you are meaningless to them.
