Individually you have a point, I was referring to their collective history.Originally posted by Dorcus View PostAll people are unique, and all have a remarkable and unprecedented history.
"Hebrew is the only 'dead' language to be revived as a common unifying tongue for the descendants of those who originally spoke it. Furthermore, no other ancient language foretold its linguistic death and revival thousands of years before it occurred"
If you know another nation who did this in history then please let me know?

Hebrew and Aramaic are not the same, though they are very closely related. Hebrew and Aramaic evolved around the same time and in the same region of the world.Originally posted by Dorcus View PostI thought Hebrew was merely an adaptation of Aramaic

Which part of history contained a Palestinian State according to your research?

Re: 40 Killed In Hamas Attacks In Israel
Nonsense question, as you know.
There has never been a time in history where there was a state, a political entity, called Palestine. There has been a land called Palestine for millennia, and people who have lived in that land. They were indigenous from the time of the Canaanites, they came from the same ethnic stock as the early Jewish tribes and they were incomers from Arabia up to the early years of the Byzantine Empire.
The point being that the Palestinian Arabs who are subject to Israeli apartheid and ethnic cleansing have lived in that land for many, many centuries. The people who are driving them out, starving them and bombing them are (with very few exceptions) not historically from that land - the biggest groups are from the USA, Russia and Poland.
Post Mandate Palestine was supposed to be divided into a settler Israeli state and a Palestinian state in 1947-48. Only one state was created - Israel - and since that time it has been expanding across the neighbouring Palestinian land in a drive to achieve the Greater Israel that is the objective of political Zionism. Political Zionism is a racist ideology rooted in a literal belief in Old Testament texts - just what you carpet bomb this board with every day!
There should be a Palestinian state as part of a two state 'solution' or else a single liberal-democratic Israeli-Palestinian state with equal rights for all, because that is the position of the United Nations and it is the aspiration of a people without autonomy or equal rights.
The constant attempts to deny Palestinians their identity and their future because their land has been under occupation for most of their history is disgraceful. There is no history of Palestinian states, but there is a long and continuous history of Palestinian people!

Re: 40 Killed In Hamas Attacks In Israel
I’m glad they have, until lately I know little of what has occurred there before ww2. It’s an interesting read, tribal people back in the old days but the Jews have always had a hard time there, wasn’t Jesus himself a Jew? As much as I obviously can’t agree with all this bombing malarkey that Israel are doing, they have clearly had enough going back 2000 years…..Originally posted by truthpaste View PostNo problem, maybe the detail wasn't necessary for a few, but be in no doubt, it is certainly more than necessary for some.
While I fully agree with your final comment, it's interesting to note that a remnant of Jews have always remained in the land.
This song (with lyrics) will provide more avenues of study for those who wish to read more about these unique people who have a remarkable and unprecedented history.

The Philistines (now called Palestinians) are thought to have originated from a Greek immigrant group that settled in Canaan around 1175 BC. They are considered to be one of the Sea Peoples.

The next national march for Palestine and Lebanon is on Saturday - ending at the US Embassy. The stakes are getting higher as the genocide continues and spreads.

Jesus arrived as a Jew and was given many titles including 'The Lamb of God', yet He will appear once more, and this time (in contrast) as 'The Lion of the Tribe of Judah' - this is because 2000 years ago he was always ultimately meant to go as a lamb to the slaughter, but this time His enemies will be dealt with by the 'Lion'.Originally posted by goats View PostI’m glad they have, until lately I know little of what has occurred there before ww2. As for your mention of 2000 years, Abraham lived around 2000 BC, so their troubles began over 4000 years ago, and just as the Bible predicted, the entire world will be impacted by their ongoing story.

Re: 40 Killed In Hamas Attacks In Israel
Maybe - but on previous demonstrations (this will be the 18th or 19th national one in a year) the numbers of counter demonstrators have been in the few hundreds at most, and usually dozens - a mixture of Netanyahu fans, Tommy Robinson fans and Narendra Modi fans: Israeli/English/Indian flags and a lot of shouting - drowned out by 1000x as many marchers for Palestine. There has been no real disruption - the marches are very well stewarded and very orderly.Originally posted by Dorcus View PostUnfortunately I expect many Tommy Tommy types to try to disrupt
