Obviously trying to say they backed the winner again and it's all about popularity. Let's see if they spend the next few years laying into the opposition. Total shithousery from an awful rag.

If it was up to me I'd ban newspapers being politically linked to any of the parties.

The Sun was a socialist paper when it, sort of, morphed from the Daily Herald in 1964. My Uncle Georgie, a union leader and staunch Labour man, always had it in the house.
