Fantastic. Those filth hate Harris so much. How dare a black woman become a prosecutor and lock up bad people of all colours.

She should be like them and scream and shout about victimhood instead. Nothing seems to rile BLM quite like a successful, intelligent and decent black person.

BLM are corrupt and buy political favour and cause animosity through the world and is some ways disadvantage the black people by stirring hatred in the same way the far right does .

They dont want Harris she is part of the white elite.

Doesn't the statement by BLM overlook the small detail that Kamala Harris is the vice President and would automatically stand in for the President if he is unable to carry out his duties for whatever reason? I am no expert on American constitutional matters, so may I stand to be corrected?

                This is not relevant.

BLM object to not having an open (and transparent) selection process for the Democratic nominee. The parallel is the Tories and Rishi Sunak.

Yes but that is a different matter from 'inheriting' the Democratic Party nomination.

It seems she has already had a majority of Biden delegates agreeing to switch to her - so she would be a shoe as the official nominee at the convention. But BLM is saying there should be a short, quick transparent process to confirm she is the preferred candidate of the party as a whole - not just a stitch up between the delegates and the party leadership.

BLM went out of its way in the statement and the two quotes to avoid any comment on Harris herself - the process was the issue.

If BLM want there own candidate, then grow a pair and stand and stop descretly funding the likes of Bernie Saunders Biden via actblue.

What about those rich eastern seaboard wealthy blacks, standing as a BLM canditates .

Stop supporting a white political party .

Yes he is, but his mother and her parents weren't.

This statement on its own no, I probably should have been clearer about that instead of just ranting. But they've had plenty of jibes at Harris before. As far as I'm concerned this is them attempting to have a go again, but I think they're worried about the optics of saying what they really think, so this is as far as they will go.

I'm not particularly impressed with Harris as a speaker. But as a person of substance I think she's exactly what is needed over there. The fact that she riles the MAGA and BLM lot equally is a bonus imo

Have you seen her record as a DA & AG?
