Well, they are his people right? All those dodgy monks, priests whatever you call them, all that abuse in Ireland……if they aren’t his disciples to coin a phrase, who are? There’s me thinking all these years that those lot were church people hey?

You think that people 2,000 years ago (and let's also remember that the books in the Bible were collated, edited and amended by human beings) have the answers for everything when they had no idea about DNA, atoms, gluons, muons, plate tectonics, blood groups, electricity, what caused lightning, radio signals, the speed of light, radiation, genetic mutation, evolution etc etc. On the other hand, we are expected to believe about people supposedly being turned to salt, water being turned into wine, Eve being created from Adam's rib, a talking donkey, a virgin birth, the existence of Nephilim, Enosh living over 900 years, demons being driven out of Mary Magdalen etc etc etc.

They had no idea about the science that could result in motorised vehicles, aircarft, computerisation, space travel, MRI scans, x-rays, transplants, televison, nuclear power, photography, modern medicine, innoculation, chemotherapy, GPS and a lot else.

They didn't even know the full extent of our own planet as regards all the continents that existed.

It's very difficult to understand how intelligent people in the 21st century can believe in such myths...... but indictrination is an incredible thing.
I agree with you, but Homo Sapiens evolved about 250-300,000 years ago (you missed a few '0's).

And Neanderthals were around from about 450,000 to 40,000 years ago - with a lot of evidence of interbreeding with Homo Sapiens - so even longer before the period of the shamans and mystics whose supposed words Truthpaste loves to 'quote' at us.

No they are all the wrong type of the good lords people.
If he is that powerful why does he not act to remove them?

He really needs to sort them out, doing the guy no favours at all to be honest. The last time I went into a church, about 16 yrs ago, one of 3 visits I had to do, there were about 5 people there, me and the wife were the youngest by a good 30/40 years. Maybe those three good deeds saved me from a Lennon type assassination? I hope he didn’t hear what I said after we left on the very short walk home.

He obviously tried to get Trump a few times lately? Is he a non believer?

Last time I went into a church was in the early 80s. I was about 11. My folks had sent me to Sunday school. They weren't particularly religious but I guess they just wanted some time to themselves on a Sunday morning. Anyway, the priest or vicar or whatever they are called kept touching my arse. Not just an accidental touch but actually pulling my trousers back and putting his hand down and having a squeeze of my arse. I told my Dad when it first happened. He said he would take care of it. I never saw that vicar again after that and my Dad has always refused to tell me what went on, only that he had sorted it. My Dad passed recently and I still don't know what happened to the vicar bloke. The police have never been in touch so I am assuming it is all cool.

And many people here still think these predators are servants of God just because they wear the robes etc You do meet the occasional one that isn't appointed just because it's a job with an income or is seeking easy access to youngsters, so they shouldn't all be classified in the same group.

I for one have never pointed individuals to churches in general. If you know what to look for you will spot a Church making a positive impact on their community as well as those who attend. And it will always come down to a leader (or leaders) who are seeking to serve God rather than themselves.

Have a great Christmas and I pray that you will one day have a positive reflection on Christianity because you've encountered someone who is the real deal

My correcting my typo was seconds too late! I did think about the evolution angle and indeed Neanderthal cross-pollination - but our dear friend doesn't believe in evolution was understood by those who know most about the subject.

I'll return to your list in 2025 as the next two weeks are way too busy for me, but MRI was invented by a 6-day creationist who you would consider to be uneducated and disconnected from your elevated reality, and the ultimate author of the Bible would needed to have knowledge of the impact of nuclear weapons and genetic mutations (to name just two examples) to have written certain sections of Scripture. So enjoy your Christmas in your Christ free bubble, and God willing I will address your other nonsence in the new year.
