Yes because where they go they won’t be relying on state handouts that’s for sure……

      Re: Immigration levels

I've always been of the opinion that if a person is prepared to walk to France from Afghanistan, dodging Police, Border control, using survival methods, sourcing food, attempting to stay healthy, Living in a make shift bin for two years with a bin bag for a roof, then getting on an Amazon 29.99 family holiday Dinghy with 33 other people to cross the busiest shipping lane on Earth, then that'll do for me......

They deserve a knighthood and, at the very least, a good job!

It's all types of immigration that's a mess, bringing six people on benefits to fill a carer's vacancy was feckin' criminal. The conservatives were almost as bad; it's bankrupting the country.

Illegal immigration costs a fortune proportionately, with no added value.

It's time to give Reform a try; they can't possibly do any worse.

There is so much wrong, I don't know where they will start.

The conservatives and reform definitely cant blame that on Labour, even though they will , as they weren't in office
The number on boats has doubled thats Labours fault.

The pound will devalue like mad, money printing is how they will try and get out of this mess.

No Covid, no Brexit, no real opposition in Westminster, just incompetence.

This country is only going one way, losing billions every year, 2 million work shy anyway….socialism - living off someone else’s money.
Criminals love it, the police can't cope, we are soft, take years to get them to court when they are caught, and even if they go to jail, it's soft and they can do the time with nice beds food and tv.

The figures quoted there are for 2023 to 2024

Labour didn't come in till July 2024 , AFTER those figures were published

Labour are crap but the conservatives were far worse for the 14 years they were in power

I'm not going to defend the conservatives; they are guilty as charged.
