When he started playing, his influences were Flea, Marcus Millar & Jaco, we have tickets to see Pino play later this year.

Dan I think you know this does't play with Magenta anymore but still plays in one of Rob Reeds bands CYAN, i have seen this video before but had forgotten it, it appeared in my playlist tonight, he bought the axe, a squire specifically for gigs like this where he doesn't have full control over the guitar, airports etc. and on the basis that if it get stolen or broken, it's not one of his USA fenders or his stingray, IMO it's a great melodic bass line underpinning the track. if you have a nice pair of cans the bottom end has a great sound.
Starts thread to try and wind people up.

Gets wound up himself to the extent that he feels the need to explain himself in detail, and moans about "being stalked."

Best pencil in a bit more time for the next thread planning meeting I think HB, this one hasn't gone well.

(I do feel bad for spoiling your fun though, will return to my sabbatical. Just take it if you dish it out  )

Serious question - do you believe that to be the case?

Serious answer YES, however, if its ever convincingly proved they did land up there then I'll have to apologise to Mrs. HB before ccmb. I've mentioned this before on here, she has and kept a scrap book of this event at the time we still have it, Mrs. HB is a couple of years older than me and was really interested in this event at the time, I've almost always doubted it, and further to my visit to the Kennedy Space Centre in 1989 nothing I saw convinced me otherwise, happy to be wrong on this one, i just think that it was basically a propaganda exchange with the Russians.

I totally get the Cold War agenda and the motives for Americans to fake all this stuff. But all the conspiracies theories around this have been debunked. If it was faked, several countries around the world would also have to be in on it. Besides I know somebody personally who worked on the Apollo missions. I’ve also been to the Kennedy space center twice. What did you see there that convinced you the moon landings were faked?

The quality of the manufacturing, piss poor it was the days before digital pictures only a few of my pictures remain. Undercut, lack of fusion, surface porosity in welds, Americans are notoriously poor at making stuff.Trump will find this out as he brings manufacturing back from China and other manufacturing outposts. The space shuttle failures resultant from poor quality control.

Maybe the real one was out the back for a wash and polish, and you were looking at the temporary exhibit?

Shame about the fusion but, given your career I defer to your knowledge about the porosity of welds, Nels. Looks like the HB/ mozz strategic barbecue is still kicking ass!

I've put enough pigeon shit down in my time to know poor quality welding :hehe: :hehe:
When i used to work for a living and not shuffle a pen around, I made a component to go into space in a shuttle for an experiment in space and TBH it was such a long time ago i cannot remember if it ever went, BTW crap looking welds do not necessarily mean crap welds!! but will give you a 1st indication of the tradesperson/s ability. Strategy meeting tonight at our mums but CCMB wasn't discussed, didn't fancy another new low for the stalker.
