Good. Waste of time and of no benefit.

I cheated a system back in the 80's I had to as the benefit would not give a decent life. So instead of getting 7 pound a week i got 17.
Now think back to 1981/4 and think how far 17 quid would get you.

In 1983, the average weekly gross earnings for full-time employees in the UK were £154.30 for men and £98.90 for women.
I 'worked' for tesco while at uni. They hadn't sorted me a card to clock in for my first shift. I had one shift a week - 5 hours on Friday night and had to get a bus that took forever and did a tour of the very shittest parts of Plymouth (all of it), I went once, never went again and they kept paying me for months.

Feels like more than 13 and that’s the problem Starmer’s Labour has got - nothing wrong with the occasional u turn, but there’s been so many in a relatively short space of time with this lot that they look weak and you wonder why they announced many of these policies in the first place,

Yeah I've never been fond of the term "U-turn". Firstly it's often an inaccurate term and more often not a total reversal but a change of direction following consultation and feedback from voters, which in many cases is no bad thing. It can be a show of strength and demonstration of listening etc.

But I think as Bob says it's the number of them in so short a space of time that should cause alarm. It makes them look rudderless and chaotic. Added to that, again as mentioned, it makes you wonder what the hell they were thinking.

This policy made no real sense at worst and at best was Ill timed. We have all got jobs or benefits or doctors services before. We know full well we have existing documents to prove our legal status. It was a real case of gaslighting telling us we needed digital ID to stop illegal immigration.

So you're confessing to being a liar and a thief? I'll bear that in mind whenever I read one of your posts!

It's a previously rejected Blair policy that he's still obsessed about.

No they just gave me money and didn't ask for it back.

You have a little obsession going on here haven't you. Is it because I am the only one who bothers to reply to you anymore? Like a little craving for attention thingy going on in there somewhere? We can be friends.. I can be your first one ever.

The onus was on you to make contact and inform them that you were no longer working there.

I don't know why! That would not be robbing the rich to pay the poor and anyone who doesn't do that needs to be put in the stocks on my opinion.

Tesco's are absolute data harvesting rip-off bastards. Eric was too good for them anyway, although he is a very naughty boy.

He does seem less of a weirdo than many on here I'll grant you.

I shall hold you to that hug.
